Hannah Lesser, Special Programs and Outreach Director

HannahLesserHannah hails from Berkeley where, since graduating from Oberlin College in 2008, she has been working as a Jewish teen educator. She loves impassioned Jewish learning, meeting teenagers where they’re at and guiding them in finding their place in Jewish life, ritual symbolism and cooking Jewish specialties.

Hannah is no stranger to TV/TC Midrasha, having taught 8th Grade Core and electives such as “The Jewish Yoga Experience” and “Jewish Homesteading.” As a Midrasha alumna she believes deeply in the importance of Midrasha to the Jewish teen experience and, thus, the future of Jewish peoplehood. Hannah is thrilled to be bringing exciting events and opportunities to our community this year.

Diana and Hannah look forward to welcoming all our teens and their families to the 2016-17 program.
