Midrasha Mishpacha!

As we enter into our third week, here are some important things to be aware of:

— Midrasha’s Fall Retreat RSVP link is now OPEN! We already have a LOT of buzz about this retreat. My suggestion is this: We have a higher percentage of teens who stay involved with Midrasha throughout the year when they attend a retreat earlier in the year. Encourage your teen to attend the Fall Retreat and let’s get them better connected to their Jewish community now! And, you already have $200 toward a retreat or excursion.

— This past Sunday we had a guest teacher named George Stevens from Dror Leadership High School in Israel. Dror High is a service learning-based semester for 10th and 11th graders where students study in English at an Israeli high school, meet all their academic requirements, and gain the skills to become tikkun olam leaders in the 21st Century. Check out their video or email George at education@drorleadership.org for more info about this exciting new program!

— Our very own Jamie Cohen will be giving a presentation to our teens this Sunday during Opening Circle on his experience as a Midrasha alum and why retreats were/are valuable to him.

Lastly, if you have yet registered for Midrasha, please do! All of your teens belong here in this dynamic and colorful Jewish community!

Shabbat Shalom,
Day
